We do not contract with insurance companies; however, you may be eligible for partial or full reimbursement for our services, depending on your unique insurance plan. We are considered an “Out of Network” Provider, and we can provide you a statement or “superbill” to submit directly to your insurance company. This superbill typically has all the information needed for your insurance provider. It is highly recommended that you contact your insurance provider prior to initiating treatment in order to understand your benefit plan and learn about any pre-authorization requirements.

We have a simple, convenient, secure process for payment online. We accept most credit cards and only need to obtain the information one time at the beginning of our work together. Payment is made at the time of service.

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. The scheduling of an appointment means that we reserve a 45 – 50 minute session (or whatever amount of time has been allotted) specifically for you and this is your time. Therefore, we request that you inform us 48 hours prior to our scheduled time if you need to cancel a session. You will be billed in full for a session that you cancel with less than 48 hours notice. We do not bill for late cancellations in the event of a COVID diagnosis or true emergency. Please be aware that insurance companies generally will not reimburse for a cancelled session.
-
After we begin working together, we use email for logistics and some scheduling only. We use a HIPAA-secure system for scheduling, billing, sensitive or confidential information and encrypted messaging requiring a password each time. While we try to return messages in a timely manner, we cannot guarantee immediate response to emails, messages, or voicemails.

Due to the importance of confidentiality and the importance of minimizing dual relationships, we do not accept friend or contact requests from current or former children, teens, young adults or parents on any social networking site (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).

Therapy sessions are typically either 45-50 minutes in length once a week. In some cases, individuals may benefit from more frequent or longer sessions. Therapists at CBT Tools For Life will design an individualized treatment plan that works for you, your child or teen and will discuss session length and meeting frequency with you in the young adult or parent feedback meeting after completing an initial clinical evaluation.

After submitting your request, you’ll complete a brief inquiry form. If your appointment time is accepted, we will meet briefly to ask you some questions, answer any questions you may have, determine if we are a good fit for your needs, and discuss how we might be of help to you, your child/teen, and/or your organization.
